About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Office Administrator to join our Haematology team at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Haematology Clinical Team, ensuring the smooth operation of the department and maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Haematology Clinical Team
  • Organize workload with Haematology Consultants and coordinate activities with Clinical Office Coordinators
  • Exercise initiative and maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Carry out duties in the Haematology Day Unit
Person Specification

Essential Qualifications:

  • English GCSE Grade C or equivalent

Desirable Qualifications:

  • NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent

Essential Experience:

  • Previous administration experience

Desirable Experience:

  • NHS experience
  • Experience using Surrey Safe Care

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to deal with sensitive information
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Able to use initiative and judgement in daily tasks
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work flexibly
