Role Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Engage students in Key Stages 4 and 5 through dynamic and comprehensive Health and Social Care lessons, fostering a profound understanding of the subject matter.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the department to refine and enhance the Health and Social Care curriculum, ensuring it effectively meets the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Prepare, administer, and meticulously mark assignments, exams, and coursework, providing timely and constructive feedback to support student progress.
  • Student Mentorship: Guide and mentor students, offering academic and personal support, and inspiring a genuine passion for health and social care professions.
  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external partners to enrich the educational experience and create valuable opportunities for our students.

Requirements:

  • A recognized teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • A strong grasp of the Health and Social Care curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
