Job Summary

We are seeking a confident and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Cygnet Fountains, a high-dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men with severe and enduring mental illness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide enhanced care and support to individuals with mental health needs, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to Cygnet's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered care and support.
  • Assist with medical and welfare needs, reporting any concerns or issues to senior staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.

Requirements

  • Experience working in mental health services, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
