Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the design and development of new components and equipment for maritime and sub-sea applications. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop new components and equipment for maritime and sub-sea applications.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions.
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and engineering drawings.
  4. Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and engineering.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
  3. Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software.
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Chartered Engineer status or working towards.
  3. Experience with marine classification rules and international standards.
