About the Role

Atlas Workplace Services is seeking an experienced and reliable commercial/office cleaner to join our team in Glasgow.

  • Full-time position with 15 hours per week
  • Working week: Monday to Friday, 6pm to 9pm
  • Hourly rate: £12.00

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for delivering site-based cleaning operations to the highest standards, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with our Site Cleaning Manual.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Cleaning Tasks:
    • Dusting and cleaning of all office surfaces
    • Dusting and cleaning of reception areas and meeting rooms
    • Cleaning of the office kitchen area
    • Cleaning of microwaves and refrigerators
    • Vacuuming of all carpeted areas
    • Mopping of all hard floor surfaces
    • Cleaning of crockery and utensils, including the filling and emptying of the dishwasher
    • Spot cleaning of any stains on the carpet
    • Maintaining a clean and tidy cleaning cupboard
  • Health and Safety:
    • Handling substances in accordance with our QSHE guidelines and COSHH policy
    • Monitoring stock of products and condition of equipment
    • Informing your Line Manager/Supervisor of any defects or issues
    • Conducting work safely in accordance with Company and Governmental policy
    • Observing all Client and company statutory fire and health and safety regulations
  • Client and Customer Relationships:
    • Working in the best interests of the Client and customers at all times
    • Forming positive relationships based on trust, openness, and honesty
    • Promoting a professional, corporate, and positive image
  • Freedom to Act:
    • Operating within agreed operational and/or management guidelines
    • Working within the limits of the Atlas Corporate Governance
    • Escalating any H&S issues to Atlas board level, if necessary
