Job Title: Care Support Worker

Join GSL Education as a Care Support Worker and make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational and behavioural needs.

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to work alongside our team of education professionals to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized learning experiences for students with a range of special educational and behavioural needs.
  • Assist with personal care where necessary.
  • Support the delivery of lessons in-line with the Primary and Secondary School National Curriculums.
  • Behaviour Management and Intervention Support.
  • Work alongside other education professionals such as Education Psychologists, Social Workers and CAMHS.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months hands-on experience of supporting adults or young people with additional needs.
  • Calm and caring demeanour, with a positive outlook on life.
  • Resilience.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
  • Commit to 8:30am- 3:30pm - Monday to Friday – Term Time Only.
