About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our team as a Space Manager and Layout Leader for a major project at Sellafield. As a key member of our Design and Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the architectural 3D model is updated, reviewing the layout and ensuring it is optimised, and managing architectural resources and planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the architectural 3D model is updated and accurate
  • Review and optimise the layout to ensure efficient use of space
  • Manage architectural resources, planning, and delivery of work
  • Identify and specify architectural resource requirements and work with the Civil, Structural & Architectural Responsible Engineer (CS&A RE)
  • Develop a process to ensure layout development is coordinated across disciplines and changes are assessed before implementation
  • Lead regular model reviews and space management meetings
  • Lead the architectural team to develop the 3D model and produce 2D AutoCAD GA and detail drawings from the model and specifications as design progresses through Preliminary and Detailed Design
Requirements
  • Fully qualified architect or architectural technologist with experience in layout development, statutory planning, and architectural detailing and specifying
  • Proficient in using Revit and AutoCAD for 2D design
  • Experience in managing architectural resources and planning
