Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team at The Sterling Choice. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and plant to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance daily operational efficiencies.
  • Assist with project work, including the introduction of new plant and equipment, to support our company's growth and development.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • FMCG manufacturing experience, with a preference for food manufacturing.
