About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate duty shifts, ensuring a clean, well-stocked store that meets customer expectations
- Lead by example, setting a high standard for customer service and store operations
- Coach and develop colleagues to improve service and performance
- Maintain a deep understanding of store performance and contribute to initiatives to drive improvement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and managers to achieve business objectives
What We Offer
As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you will enjoy a competitive rate of pay, starting from £14.28 an hour, with opportunities for progression and development. You will also receive a night premium of £2.30 per hour for shifts worked between midnight and 6am. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with opportunities to work fewer hours if preferred.
