About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to lead our Women's Performance Department as Head Physiotherapist - Women's Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our elite medical service team and support the development of our women's football players.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate as an expert within the field of physiotherapy, providing high-quality medical services to our women's team.
  • Line manage a multi-disciplined performance team, ensuring efficient and effective functioning of the department.
  • Develop and implement prehab and rehab strategies to support the recovery and performance of our players.
  • Coordinate physiotherapy services and medical arrangements to ensure seamless support for our team.
  • Work closely with the strength and conditioning team to develop and implement training programs that support player performance and injury prevention.
  • Rotate into a travelling performance team to support our elite players through competitive fixtures, both home and away.
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy
  • MSc (Hons) in a sports-related subject (desirable)
  • Registered member of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) with adequate indemnity insurance
  • FA Advanced Trauma Medical Management in Football (ATMMiF) or a recognised equivalent
  • Appropriate knowledge of strength and conditioning principles
  • Have appropriate medical indemnity to treat/advise Professional Players
  • Satisfactory background check in respect to Child Protection
