About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Physiotherapist to lead our Women's Performance Department. As a key member of our women's staff, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the department, ensuring the delivery of elite medical services to our players.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate as an expert within the field of physiotherapy, providing high-level medical support to our women's team.
  • Line manage a multi-disciplined performance team, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Develop and implement prehab and rehab strategies to optimize player performance and minimize injury risk.
  • Collaborate with the strength and conditioning team to ensure a comprehensive approach to player development.
  • Rotate into a travelling performance team to support our elite players during competitive fixtures.

Requirements

  • BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy
  • MSc (Hons) in a sports-related subject (desirable)
  • Registered member of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) with adequate indemnity insurance
  • FA Advanced Trauma Medical Management in Football (ATMMiF) or a recognised equivalent
  • Appropriate knowledge of strength and conditioning principles
  • Have appropriate medical indemnity to treat/advise Professional Players
  • Satisfactory background check in respect to Child Protection
