Associate Director – Economy and Environment

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to lead our policy and evaluation team in the Economy and Environment sector. The successful candidate will have a strong background in economic policy and market challenges, with experience in leading evaluations of major interventions aimed at tackling the challenges of achieving net zero, energy security, and addressing the UK's productivity growth.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of economic policy and market challenges, and will be able to apply quantitative impact evaluation methods and theory-based approaches to complex evaluation problems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and directing evaluations through the full project cycle from design to developing conclusions and recommendations.
  • Presenting the findings from evaluation to clients, key stakeholders and other audiences.
  • Oversight on successful evaluation proposals and pitches.
  • Providing specialist expertise in a policy or methodological area.
  • Contributing towards the strategic and operational management of the team.
  • Mentoring.
