The Opportunity

We are looking to attract an experienced Building Surveyor to join our existing team in the Exeter office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake refurbishment projects ranging from £50,000 to £2,000,000
  • Oversee both traditional and Design & Build (D&B) projects, encompassing new builds and refurbishments
  • Excel in client management to ensure project success
  • Efficiently handle contract administration responsibilities
  • Expertly prepare comprehensive tender packages
  • Conduct diverse building surveys to support project requirements
  • Lead by example and provide valuable assistance to junior team members
The Ideal Candidate
  • Recent Construction Consultancy experience
  • MRICS or willing to work towards Charterership
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCad as well as a basic understanding of professional services
  • Strong proficiency in IT tools, including Word, Excel, email, etc.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Outstanding organisational abilities for prioritising work and meeting deadlines
  • Flexible with a positive approach
  • Impressive client-facing skills, personable, and a keen sense of commercial awareness
