We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to join our team at Flagship Pioneering, Inc. As a key member of our Pioneering Medicines division, you will play a critical role in conceiving and developing life-changing treatments for patients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex projects, including those involving novel modalities, in collaboration with Flagship platform companies.
- Think strategically at the asset and portfolio level, ensuring alignment of objectives and smooth execution of partnership goals.
- Work closely with project teams to develop integrated development plans and ensure execution and tracking of critical activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including program teams, leadership, business development, legal, and finance teams, to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Analyze market data and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management regarding potential partnership initiatives and market expansion strategies.
- PhD, Master's, or BS/BA/MBA degree.
- 8+ years' experience in a drug discovery development field or scientific, functional experience.
- 6+ years' drug development project management experience.
- Scientific/research background, preferably with experience in Metabolic, Immunology, CV, and/or renal disease area(s).
- Strong understanding of the biopharmaceutical landscape, including key players, emerging trends, and technological advancements.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
