At BT Group, we're looking for a talented Infrastructure Engineer to join our specialist security team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in protecting critical national infrastructure and ensuring the safety and security of our nation and global communities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in automation, enterprise systems management, and continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) technologies. You'll be responsible for designing and deploying a wide range of software and services for enterprise and web-scale scenarios, including operating systems deployment and advanced configuration, IP networking, virtualization or cloud computing, and scripting.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Systems engineering across all popular operating systems on virtualised and cloud platforms
  • Design and deployment of software and services for enterprise and web-scale scenarios
  • Operating systems deployment and advanced configuration (Linux, Windows)
  • IP networking (Routing, Firewall configuration)
  • Virtualisation or cloud computing
  • Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Automation (Ansible, Terraform, AWX)
