About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders to design, build, and maintain complex systems
  • Administer systems, applications, and databases based on Linux operating systems
  • Maintain and troubleshoot IP networking systems
  • Automate system deployment, operation, and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling
  • Continuously expand your skills, maintaining and enhancing relevant certifications
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience working within IT Systems Design, Deployment, and Administration, with recent roles in Technical or Team Leadership positions
  • Extensive experience of administration of Linux and Windows Operating Systems within large corporate environments
  • Experience of administering Containerised systems in Docker, OpenShift, and/or Kubernetes
  • Experience of automating tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet, or Python
  • Experience of designing, deploying, and troubleshooting IPv4 Networking, including Subnetting, OSPF Routing, VLANs, and VPNs
