About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Adoptions Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As an Adoptions Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth adoption of roads, sewers, and other infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Build and Commercial Departments to ensure timely sign-off and handover of infrastructure assets.
  • Attend site visits to monitor quality and identify potential issues.
  • Liaise with Technical Coordinators, Design Consultants, and Solicitors to ensure compliance with infrastructure agreements and deeds.
  • Resolve issues arising from completed sites and ensure all legal requirements are met.
  • Liaise with Contractors and Subcontractors to ensure compliance with construction processes and regulations.
  • Manage external consultants and procure utility works and installations as required.
  • Arrange for CCTV surveys, Street Lighting completion certificates, and other necessary documentation to facilitate adoptions and handovers.
Requirements
  • Relevant HND/ Degree/ Professional qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in civil engineering and site management, with a strong understanding of the adoption process.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure agreements, deeds, and bonds.
  • Experience working with housing developers, consultancies, local authorities, and Management Companies.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to influence and persuade others, with a methodical and accurate approach to tasks.
Desirable
  • Civil Engineering related qualification (Degree, HND, or HNC) and a CSCS card.
  • Experience in estate roads and sewer design, construction, and inspections with relevant Authorities.
  • Experience of legal agreements and bond arrangements.
  • Experience in Management Company set up, handover arrangements, and legal transfer.
