We are seeking an experienced Adoptions Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As an Adoptions Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth adoption of roads, sewers, and other infrastructure assets by local authorities.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Build and Commercial Departments to ensure timely sign-off and handover of infrastructure assets.
- Attend site visits to monitor quality and identify potential issues, providing feedback to the build team and contractors.
- Liaise with Technical Coordinators, Design Consultants, and Solicitors to ensure that infrastructure agreements and deeds are in place.
- Resolve issues arising from completed sites, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and maintenance bonds.
- Liaise with Contractors and Subcontractors to ensure completion of works, variations, and inspections.
- Manage external consultants and procure utility works/installations as required.
- Arrange for CCTV surveys, Street Lighting completion certificates, and Road safety Audits to ensure compliance with approved designs.
- Relevant HND/ Degree/ Professional qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in civil engineering and site management, with knowledge of the adoption process.
- Technical understanding of section agreements S38, S278, and S104, as well as bonds, certificates, and title deeds.
- Experience working with housing developers, consultancy, local authorities, and Management Companies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Civil Engineering related qualification (Degree, HND, or HNC) and hold a CSCS card.
- Experience in estate roads and sewer design, construction, and inspections with relevant Authorities.
- Experience of legal agreements and bond arrangements, as well as Management Company set up and handover arrangements.
- Fully conversant with building regulations and Construction Design and Management Regulations.
