About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Assistant to join our Independent Supported Living team at NEAS. As a Care Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism and/or neurodivergent conditions to live independently and access a range of activities in their community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with autism and/or neurodivergent conditions to access activities and services in their community
  • Work independently and as part of a team to provide person-centered support
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and/or neurodivergent conditions (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
