Job Summary:

Matchtech is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Water Sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working on various projects, from optioneering to detailed design and installation, and collaborating with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and investigations to identify electrical and ICA infrastructure needs.
  • Develop and deliver EICA designs, working closely with project managers and technical leaders.
  • Collaborate with clients, supply chain partners, contractors, planners, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Act as a mentor, line manager, or guide to less experienced team members, helping to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Produce technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, reports, and other documentation as required.
  • Develop and maintain Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams, and other engineering documents.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Chartered or Incorporated with the IET, with several years of experience in EICA design, preferably in the water industry.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in writing technical specifications, control philosophies, and other documentation.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
