Main Responsibilities

As the Restaurant Manager at The Headland, you will be responsible for leading our team to deliver exceptional service and culinary experiences to our guests. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading by example and maintaining high service standards
  • Delivering a warm and welcoming experience for all guests
  • Working with the team to exceed guest expectations in all areas of restaurant service delivery
  • Ensuring accurate billing and maintaining EPOS systems
  • Developing and maintaining a strong knowledge of food, wine, and cooking techniques
  • Overseeing shifts and remaining hands-on within the operation
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
  • Managing stock control and minimizing waste
  • Building strong relationships with the kitchen team
  • Coaching, training, and mentoring the restaurant front-of-house team
  • Optimizing sales and working with the Executive Head Chef to develop the business
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous managerial experience in a high-volume restaurant
  • A strong background in the hotel or restaurant sector, preferably at a 5-star luxury standard
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for food and beverage
  • An understanding of ingredients, cooking methods, and dietary requirements
  • The determination to create a memorable guest experience
  • The drive to work in a fast-paced luxury restaurant environment
