Job Title: Manager, Financial Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Financial Management to join our Global Services Group (GSG) Control Management Governance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in establishing the Operational Risk and Controls strategy for GSG, setting up a foundational governance structure, and ensuring operational risks are identified, assessed, and managed in compliance with enterprise Operational Risk Management programs and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on execution plans for operational risk management within the business unit, including BU-specific guidelines, project plans, and procedures.
  • Provide support to develop the operational risk framework to enable effective risk management and decision-making in the BU.
  • Facilitate the understanding and use of the risk governance framework across BUs through regular communication and training.
  • Facilitate the day-to-day internal and external exam management process, working with Enterprise functions to ensure regulatory adherence and data request compilation.
  • Support the integration of regulatory changes and updates into the Operational Risk framework and training materials.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in operational risk management, with a strong understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activities.
  • Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in process governance, with an understanding of processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field; MBA, MSc, or certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: translating operational risk strategy and appetite into execution guidelines, overseeing the implementation of operational risk governance frameworks, communicating and ensuring understanding and adherence to operational risk procedures and standards, or facilitating operational risk exam management processes.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
