Clinical Psychologist Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Specialist Memory Service team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychology and neuropsychology services to individuals with suspected dementia and those with a diagnosis of dementia.
The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, comprising psychiatry, nursing, and occupational therapy, to ensure the highest standards of care. You will be required to complete home visits and may be required to travel to different sites within CNWL for meetings.
Supervision and support will be provided by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist for Older Adults. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is committed to providing innovative and high-quality care to our patients.
About the Role
- Provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment to individuals with dementia and their families
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct home visits and travel to different sites within CNWL as required
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
Requirements
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients with dementia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Knowledge of research methodology and staff training
