About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team at the Glasgow Argyle Hotel, Signature Collection by Best Western.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Kitchen Cleanliness: Ensure the kitchen and all equipment are kept clean and hygienic at all times.
- Assisting Chefs: Assist the chefs with food preparation, including peeling and chopping vegetables.
- Receiving Deliveries: Receive and store deliveries of food and supplies.
- Adhering to Food Safety: Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborating with the Team: Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Reporting Issues: Report any maintenance or health and safety issues to the relevant person.
