Role Overview

As a Process Burner Applications and Support Engineer at Zeeco, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical support and driving sales initiatives across the EMEA region. In this essential position, you will work closely with our Process Burner Director and coordinate with our Technical and Sales teams in the UK and Tulsa, USA. Your expertise will be vital in shaping our technical strategies and enhancing customer interactions, ensuring we meet and surpass client expectations while strengthening our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Development: Create detailed proposals for revamp, retrofit, capital, and aftermarket projects, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Cost Analysis: Generate market-driven cost estimates to support sales initiatives.
- Technical Assistance: Offer exceptional technical support to end users, including direct interactions.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with project and design teams to comprehend new product developments and existing technologies.
- Commercial Insight: Leverage commercial knowledge to enhance proposal effectiveness.
- Client Engagement: Travel to client sites to present, discuss, and negotiate proposals.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with complementary suppliers and service providers to expand Zeeco's business.
- Vendor Inclusion: Ensure Zeeco is included on vendor lists for relevant projects.
- Troubleshooting: Visit client locations to diagnose and resolve equipment issues as necessary.
- Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other relevant tasks based on your expertise and experience.
Candidate Profile:
- Engineering Degree: A degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven Business Development Experience: A track record of successfully driving business growth and developing technical solutions.
- International Client Experience: Experience working with international clients and a willingness to travel as needed.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong background in plant, petrochemical, and/or refinery environments.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interpersonal Skills: A confident and effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Technical Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven capability to sell complex technical solutions and negotiate effectively.
