Job Title: Team Leader - Children & Young People

Location: Gorton area of Greater Manchester

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 42.5 per week

Salary: £50 extra for sleep in and hourly rate on top of this

Shift Pattern: 2 on 3 off (08:00 am - sleep until 23:00 following day)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Home team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our team of Senior Support Workers, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of Senior Support Workers to deliver high-quality care and support to our young people.
  2. Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people.
  3. Work closely with our Clinical Team to ensure that our young people receive the best possible care and support.
  4. Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Participate in on-call rota and provide support and guidance to staff on duty.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
  2. Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker in a residential children's home, specialising in EBD and young people with complex welfare histories.
  3. Experience of working with young people in a residential setting.
  4. Full UK driving license - willing to use own car as required (required business insurance pre-induction shifts) and ability to drive minibus where applicable.
