Job Title: Business Support Apprenticeship Trainer

Zenith People is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Support Apprenticeship Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality apprenticeship standards to our learners, ensuring they achieve their goals and develop the skills needed to succeed in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver apprenticeship standards using a range of teaching methods, including face-to-face and remote sessions, to stimulate learning and meet learner needs.
  2. Prepare and deliver course materials, including resources, lesson plans, and subject outlines, to meet awarding body requirements.
  3. Assess learner progress and use initial assessment results to inform learning plans.
  4. Liaise with employers to develop training programs that meet their needs and add value to learners.
  5. Monitor learner progress and provide feedback to employers and learners during reviews.
  6. Support the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs), business performance, and contractual targets for learner retention and success rates.
  7. Provide thorough feedback to employers and learners on progress and suggest areas for improvement.
  8. Seek feedback from learners on learning support materials to review and improve the service and learning experience.
  9. Work closely with the Quality and Compliance Team to ensure paperwork is completed to a high standard within required timescales.
  10. Act on feedback from teaching observations, employers, peers, or other review processes.
  11. Stay up-to-date with Ofsted, Awarding Organisations, and other stakeholder requirements.
  12. Comply with Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) standards and participate in IQA activities.
  13. Provide impartial advice and guidance to learners to support their progression.
  14. Promote Safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, Maths, and English in all sessions.
  15. Promote and monitor equality and diversity in all aspects of the role and record any issues that may arise.
  16. Use a variety of delivery methods to stimulate learning and meet learner needs.
  17. Deliver additional sessions and one-to-one support as required to ensure all learners can succeed.
  18. Track and record learner progress to ensure accurate and reliable information on predicted achievement and success rates.
  19. Complete weekly update meetings and monthly caseload reports.
  20. Deliver against internal standards, systems, and procedures and participate in internal audits.
  21. Contribute to external audits from awarding organisations and funders.
  22. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all programs, including apprenticeships, our commercial offer, and recruitment services.
  23. Provide a high level of customer service to all learners and parties contacting the business.
Requirements:
  1. Experience delivering vocational qualifications to groups of learners and individuals from a range of backgrounds.
  2. Hold a full teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, PCET, or DTLLS, and a Recognised Assessor award.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels.
  4. Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle, with flexibility to travel and business insurance.
