About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Capacity Planner to join our Global Logistics EU team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and executing the long-term capacity strategy for our EU imports flows.

You will work closely with our Forecasting, Supply Chain, and Carrier Management teams to determine the capacity required from the network based on forecast inputs and chart the path to solve capacity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, with experience in supply chain management and a proven ability to think strategically about supply chain initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the long-term capacity strategy for EU imports flows
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to determine capacity requirements and chart the path to solve capacity
  • Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to optimize capacity utilization
  • Communicate capacity plans and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Forecasting team to ensure accurate forecasting and capacity planning
  • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and logistics providers to ensure optimal capacity utilization
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on capacity planning and optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of Excel and other data analysis tools
