About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Space Planning Graduate to join our team at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). As a key member of our Estates Services team, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of the Estates Transformation Programme, which aims to redevelop our major sites to make them fit for the future and achieve UKRI's world-class places ambition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage furniture requests from departments and small works
  • Maintain accurate property occupation records across the sites using CAFM system
  • Supervise contractors to undertake furniture installations, ensuring adherence to HSE standards and procedures, and report on KPI
  • Undertake on-site surveys to validate and/or update records and support new space planning allocations and solutions
  • Manage and maintain SharePoint site for the Space Planning Team
  • Run off reports for furniture orders and spend
Requirements
  • Achieved, or be on course to achieve, a minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant field of study
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK at time of starting employment
  • An understanding of workplace spatial factors
  • Able to effectively take and interpret workplace briefs from departments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Numerate and able to analyze and interpret workplace data
  • Competent to give clear directions to furniture contractors
  • An understanding of Health and Safety on a live campus
