About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Territory Manager to join our Property Management team at The Recruitment Experts. As a key member of our residential team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Viewings: Conduct property viewings at properties within your portfolio, working from a diary of pre-booked appointments.
  • Feedback and Offers: Follow up with clients for viewing feedback and put forward offers to the asset management team.
  • Onboarding and Reference Checks: Liaise with the onboarding team to ensure that prospective tenants provide the necessary information for reference checks.
  • Inventory Preparation: Prepare inventories that document the condition of a property prior to commencement of a tenancy.
  • Move-In and Move-Out: Meet new tenants at the property, conduct a move-in showing, and hand over keys and information.
  • Mid-Tenancy Visits: Revisit properties midway through an active tenancy to check on the condition, produce a brief report, and dispatch it to the property manager.
  • Maintenance and Issues: Discuss maintenance-based issues with tenants in occupation, liaise with property managers to ensure issues are addressed, and deal with maintenance requests.
  • Post-Appointment Admin: Complete post-appointment admin tasks, including chasing feedback, agreeing deals, typing up reports, updating software, and sending out relevant information.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in property or lettings and management is beneficial.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Multitasking and Efficiency: Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confident with technology.
  • Attitude and Qualifications: A positive and can-do attitude, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and industry qualifications such as ARLA (or working towards it) are preferred but not essential.
  • Driving License: Clean full UK driving license.

Working Hours

A successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5:30pm, with an hour off for lunch.
