Position Overview:

This role focuses on project-based sales of the comprehensive product range offered by Polypipe Building Services in the commercial sector. The product offerings include above-ground drainage, water supply systems, advanced fabrication systems, and associated building services.


Geographical Coverage:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a specific set of postcodes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve targeted conversion rates on designated projects, collaborating closely with the broader sales team.
  • Engage with key stakeholders on new projects, ensuring thorough documentation of progress and activities for assigned opportunities.
  • Plan and manage diary effectively to maximize productivity.
  • Oversee contractor agreements, conducting regular reviews to validate terms and spending.
  • Provide initial technical support and information to your designated customer base.
  • Address client inquiries and manage objections professionally.
  • Respond promptly to incoming inquiries, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Complete weekly reporting through the CRM system.
  • Identify opportunities for incremental growth.
  • Represent the company at various events to enhance brand awareness.
  • Offer site assistance and technical training as needed.
  • Ensure the successful delivery and supply of projects by collaborating with operational departments.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Strong understanding of the M&E marketplace, with a proven history of managing large-scale commercial projects and the ability to engage in technical discussions at all levels.
  • Quick adaptability to become a technical expert in Polypipe Building Services products and services.
  • Familiarity with project stages and decision-making processes in commercial construction.
  • A valid driving license is required due to travel obligations.
