Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Tax Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property tax filings and budgeting, reviewing property tax bills, and managing property tax audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage property tax filings and budgeting
- Review property tax bills and identify areas for improvement
- Manage property tax audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Assist with tax journal entries and reconciliations
- Track property tax abatements and complete annual filings
- Work closely with external tax providers to ensure timely tax payments
- Assist with building out the tax calendar
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 3-5 years of professional experience in tax compliance or a related field
- CPA or EA designation is desirable
- Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
- Executive presence and effective communication skills
