About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiology Assistant to join our team at Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital. As a Radiology Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Radiology department, providing exceptional patient care and support to our Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers, and Administration team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate our high-quality ultrasound service, ensuring a high level of patient care, respect, and dignity.
  • Undertake appointment bookings and manage patient data accurately.
  • Work closely with our Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers, and Administration team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Be involved in clinical audit and other administrative duties related to your role.
  • Accurately input data into radiology software CRIS and patient management software PIMS to ensure correct billing of patients.
  • Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.

Requirements

  • Level 2 Qualification in Healthcare.
  • Experience within a work environment, preferably within a customer-focused or people-focused setting.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • A caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
  • Willingness to undertake non-clinical tasks to ensure the safe and effective running of the Radiology department.
  • Work well within a close, supportive team. Willing to go the extra mile to ensure the patient has a positive experience.
  • Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
