About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Attribute Lead to join our team at Forseven. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering whole vehicle safety performance for our lead programme.

Reporting to our Head of Vehicle Performance, you will lead a team to develop and implement safety attributes, set targets, create test plans, and validate our current and next-generation electric vehicles. You will collaborate closely with all relevant engineering functions and partners to deliver Forseven's global products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety attributes for our vehicles
  • Set targets and cascade them from whole vehicle to subsystem-level
  • Lead internal and external engineers to develop safety load-cases
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve complex safety performance challenges
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of global regulatory and consumer rating safety requirements
Requirements
  • Engineering-related degree or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in passive safety, across a multitude of load-cases, within an automotive environment
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • Strong track record for technical leadership, managing both direct and indirect reports
  • Experience with consumer requirements such as Euro NCAP
