About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Stakesby Road, Whitby. As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support for three individuals with complex health needs and learning disabilities in their home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks
  • Assist with meal preparation and medication administration
  • Accompany individuals to various activities, including cinema trips, shopping, and arts and crafts
  • Monitor and record individual progress, ensuring their needs are met
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an effective communicator, able to use different communication tools and methods to support individuals with varying communication styles. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes working every other weekend and shifts are varied on a rota basis.
