Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Manager to join our team at MBDA. As a key member of our business, you will be responsible for driving business growth and delivering commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies to maximise identified opportunities
  • Lead the winning of new work through effective business development and proposal management
  • Manage the full Route to Contract, including bidding, contract negotiations, and agreement drafting
  • Ensure cross-functional working to deliver costs in time and maintain the viability of MBDA
  • Draft and negotiate bespoke contract terms and conditions
  • Experience in drafting confidentiality, loan, licence, and NDA agreements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in commercial contracts management and business development
  • Strong understanding of MoD contracting structure, including DEFCONs and QDCs
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
