About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cycle Coordinator to join our Work Management Group at Torness Power Station. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Management of Work process and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule work to ensure compliance with Site Licence, Statutory, and environmental standards and expectations.
- Work with the organisation to identify strategic plan inputs and provide support for delivery of Station Business Plan objectives.
- Develop and maintain Work Week Plans, ensuring scope is operationally risk aligned and resources are within agreed limits.
- Utilise EDF Work Week planning tools and specifications to facilitate efficient maintenance and repair of plant and equipment.
- Facilitate meetings to evaluate and sanction incoming work, ensuring emergent work is delivered in accordance with its significance.
- Organise, chair, and attend Work Management meetings applicable to planned maintenance packages.
- Perform post-execution work reviews to capture learning and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Relevant HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Broad Plant knowledge and awareness of operational and maintenance constraints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively across many work groups.
- Organisation and prioritisation skills to manage demanding workloads.
- Flexible and proactive approach to work.
- Experience using Work Management software tools, such as EDF Asset Management System, Business Objects, MS Project, and other Microsoft applications.
- Relevant experience in a technical or operational background.
