Salary: £39,000 - £46,000
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Hours: Double Days, Monday - Friday / Weekly Rotations
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
The Package:

The Role:
- Minimise production downtime by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and responding to unplanned breakdowns within stipulated timeframes.
- Ensure production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance.
- Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption.
- Be on call one week in four (Paid £250 extra per week / £3250 per year & Any callout is paid at 1.5x your hourly rate).
- Optimise the performance and lifecycle of operational equipment with regular preventative maintenance, working with the Production team to identify and understand causes of equipment wear and underperformance.
- Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
- Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures.
The Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery.
- Electrical & Mechanical Competencies.
- Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced production environment for a minimum of 2 years - Essential.
- Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer, mechanical engineer or electrical engineer.
