About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Pharmacist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our clinical informatics team, you will play a vital role in the design and implementation of new ways of working, utilizing digital systems and designing new processes to ensure maximum levels of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide input to system and supplier evaluation, configuration, testing, and training on electronic prescribing and medicines administration systems.
  • Undertake change management activity and act as project lead for departmental service improvement projects, focusing on digital transformation, data-driven practice, and efficiency improvements.
  • Offer pharmaceutical expertise and advice to the adult pharmacy team.
  • Contribute to the professional education agenda within the pharmacy department, including training for junior and trainee pharmacists.
  • Collaborate with lead pharmacists on various projects across the adult pharmacy and service delivery teams.
