Job Title: Category Lead (Plant Equipment and Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support sourcing and procurement efforts, facilitating strategic procurement initiatives and negotiating across various projects.
- Oversee the complete procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to contract negotiation and ongoing supplier performance management.
- Engage in market reviews with the supply chain to discover innovation and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Drive the strategy for commodities and manufacturing capabilities throughout the organization.
- Challenge traditional procurement methods to develop innovative contracting solutions.
- Manage and influence stakeholders across different business units.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Proven experience in Indirect Procurement and commercial strategy.
- Experience in supplier management.
- Ability to manage procurement across multiple sites and stakeholders.
- Experience in complex supply chain environments such as manufacturing, large retail, oil & gas, aerospace, automotive, and nuclear.
- Experience in purchasing heavy plant machinery and equipment within a manufacturing context.
- Expertise in negotiating complex international framework agreements.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Desirable:
- Experience in category management.
- Passion for driving and implementing change.
- CIPs qualification.

About the Procurement Team:

You will be part of the Investment & Infrastructure Procurement team, managing strategic vendors and procuring services and manufacturing equipment.
