About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Officer/Paraplanner to oversee daily compliance functions and ensure regulatory standards are met. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing compliance functions and ensuring regulatory standards are met
  • Staying up-to-date with FCA regulations and updating company policies as needed
  • Conducting training sessions and providing mentorship to advisors
  • Confidently managing external compliance audits
Key Responsibilities

As a Compliance Officer/Paraplanner, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing annual or semi-annual reviews of client investments and pensions for advisor use
  • Writing detailed reports for pensions, investments, and protection advice
  • Conducting thorough research for new pension and investment plans
  • Using tools like FE Analytics, Defaqto Engage, Adviser Asset, and CashCalc
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Compliance Officer or Paraplanner
  • Ability to work part-time and adapt to a flexible schedule
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Strong compliance and paraplanning skills, with proficiency in relevant tools
