We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Childcare Education Specialist to join our team at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment on Level 3 Childcare, Level 3 Health & Social Care, and Access to Nursing and Midwifery programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching materials and resources
- Provide academic tutorial support to students, promoting academic success and well-being
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and aligned with industry standards
- Collaborate with employers and stakeholders to ensure strong industry links and employer engagement
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted support
Requirements:
- Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in Childcare and Health & Social Care
- Strong subject matter expertise and knowledge of industry trends and developments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external partners
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and deadlines
