Assystem is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Inspection to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for overseeing site inspection activities and managing a team of inspectors.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of inspectors to ensure quality assurance and control services are delivered to clients.
  • Develop and implement quality arrangements for safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Approve project quality plans and manufacturing inspection and test plans.
  • Conduct surveillance and inspection activities at client sites and subcontractor facilities.
  • Provide guidance on quality acceptability criteria and product quality assessment.
  • Ensure data capture and analysis of quality metrics for clear management reporting.
  • Oversee the non-conformance process to identify preventive actions and facilitate timely closure of reports.
Requirements:
  • Leadership and teamwork skills with a strong understanding of quality assurance and control principles.
  • Experience in large and complicated project environments, preferably in the nuclear or heavily regulated sector.
  • Internationally recognized NDT qualifications in radiography.
  • Member or Fellow Grade Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and a Chartered Quality Practitioner.
  • Qualified to degree or master's degree in a quality-related subject or HNC/Diploma/C&G Graduate level as a minimum.
  • Ability to analyze quality data across various business levels.
  • Proficiency in using basic and advanced quality tools and techniques.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English, with knowledge of French or another second language being a plus.
  • NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma (Role Specific).
