We are working with a thriving and passionate energy waste firm in a dynamic environment.

A Plant Attendant is required to help maintain the operation while securing ongoing development and potential career progression.

Key responsibilities include maintaining, inspecting, and ensuring the cleanliness of all equipment as directed by the Duty shift team leader, reporting any defects or incorrect operation, and assisting in the safe and timely repair of failed equipment to minimize plant downtime.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a strong ability to be adaptable and flexible, and a highly motivated, results-oriented, driven approach. Previous experience in demanding and dynamic environments is required, as well as knowledge of H&S legislation and safe working environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Abide by all company and site safety policies and procedures.
  • Report all health, safety and environmental concerns, near misses and incidents via the site reporting system.
  • Carry out planned maintenance in accordance with the maintenance schedule and report any irregularities.
  • Support the wider maintenance department and site teams as situations dictate.
  • Assist the operations department with control room duties which may include operating the overhead cranes, Fuel hopper blockages and reacting to operational abnormalities.
