Assistant Craftsperson

Water Safety testing/sampling, sterilising shower heads and sentinel outlet testing Utilising Electrical / Plumbing experience to complete work tasks on site Work with other staff in undertaking a comprehensive planned maintenance programme in accordance with statutory, mandatory and economic requirements. Undertake maintenance tasks, unsupervised, such as replacing faulty lamps, replacing filters, Record utility readings e.g. gas, electricity and water. Undertake programmed heating and hot water plant inspections, receive and record fuel deliveries and monitor fuel tank levels and report findings.

Maintain cleanliness of plant rooms and workshops. Carry out day to day maintenance of works and checks of equipment and vehicles. Participate in a 24/7 on-call provisions requiring the post holder to provide cover A flexible approach to learning new skills and techniques are required to deliver the service. Attendance at ad-hoc training will be required from time to time.
