Early Years Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Years teaching assistant to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment, a leading education recruitment agency, working in a school in the Wigan area.

About the Position
  • Full-time position, 5 days a week, with daily pay rates of £85-£90

As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Provide one-on-one support for children
  • Help to maintain a safe and orderly classroom

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, as well as a passion for working with young children.

Requirements
  • NVQ level 2 qualification
  • Experience of working with Early Years children
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history
