About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Community Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver high-quality care to patients in their homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering chemotherapy treatments, assessing patient needs, and providing compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients in a community setting, ensuring safety and efficacy.
  • Work independently to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement treatment strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Manage your schedule and workload efficiently, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Requirements:

  • SACT training and certification (mandatory).
  • Experience in administering chemotherapy independently, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, prioritizing patient needs.
  • Access to a car and valid full UK drivers license.
