Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to adults with mental health needs, with a focus on rehabilitation and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to support service users in achieving their goals
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify service users' needs and abilities
- Provide training and education to service users, families, and staff on occupational therapy principles and practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Registered Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy
- Experience working with adults with mental health needs, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
