About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cygnet St Augustines, a 32-bed specialist high support inpatient rehabilitation service for men. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with their return to community living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions to individuals with mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and community integration
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Supervise and support junior staff members in their professional development
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They will also have experience working with individuals with mental health conditions and a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
