About the Role: Male Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Male Support Worker to provide personalized care to a gentleman residing in his own home in the Crookston area of Glasgow. This role requires someone confident in their abilities and with previous experience supporting individuals with autism and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to an individual with autism, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and social engagement.
  • Create a structured and supportive environment that promotes independence and choice.
  • Facilitate meaningful activities and outings in the community, tailored to the individual's interests and needs.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the individual at all times, particularly during overnight shifts.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to care provided.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience supporting individuals with autism and challenging behaviors.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to care.
